The Veterinary Gateway course is a one-year programme with the aim of preparing you for the five-year Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine undergraduate degree on completion. For an outline of what you will study on the five-year course, please see our BVetMed course page .

2017-18 . Duration of the Degree . The Veterinary Gateway BVetMed is six years in duration. Students who successfully complete the Gateway year (Year Zero) join year 1 of the standard 5-year BVetMed programme. So, i was browsing courses on the ucas website for the RVC and i came across a course called Veterinary Gateway Programme that's only 1 year long, has the Gateway Programme aims to build understanding of the impact and dynamics of controlling and abusive relationships.
